2018 – Habits, Not Resolutions

Tomorrow is 2018. Many people will set New Year’s resolutions. Depending on the type of resolution, 80% of those with New Year’s resolutions will fail by mid-February. Most people fail because they don’t want to put in the hard work. It’s easier to coast along for the year. Then New Year’s rolls around, resolutions are made – then broken – ad infinitum.

You will succeed when you think and act in terms of habits, not resolutions. Set ludicrous goals, then create the habits to help you churn through the hard work necessary to achieve your goals. Success is not about making a one-time resolution. It’s about putting in the hard work day in and day out – without mercy or complaint – toward something truly meaningful and impactful to you.

I hope you all do insanely great in 2018!

Joe
